Reminder For Today:

"People do not buy goods and services. They buy relations, stories, and magic." - Seth Godin

In Today’s Issue…

  • Finding your unique voice

  • Creating killer content

  • Networking that actually works

Let’s cut to the chase:

To stand out, you need to be yourself ..but louder.

It’s noisy out there, and to get heard, your voice has to be distinct and clear.

So how do you do this?

First things first, carve out what makes you, YOU.

What can you say that others can’t?

Maybe it’s your experience, maybe it’s your take on things.

Whatever it is, own it. This is your superpower.

Next, you need to create content that sticks.

Forget boring and usual.

You need stuff that stands out and makes people think, "wow, I never thought of it like that!"

Think newsletters that solve real problems, videos that tell a good story, or LinkedIn posts that get people talking.

Always ask yourself, "would I repost this?"

If not, it’s back to the drawing board.

Now, networking.

Not just any networking - make it count.

When we first moved to Dubai, we went to every single in person networking event under the sun.

But did we really know how to ‘network’?

Nope.

For us, the trick was to engage.

Comment on posts, join discussions, maybe even host a webinar or two.

Don’t just hand out business cards (this is a pet hate of ours FYI 👀)

Really engage.

Build a rapport, and most importantly, follow up.

Make people remember you.

Now, he’s a global coach and speaker helping organisations achieve the same high performance as F1 teams.

He is also the current Five Live F1 commentator, voice of the F1 game and co-host of the worlds longest running car show!

You bet I asked what Lewis Hamilton is really like.. and who his favourite F1 driver is 😉
