I have a confession to make.

It’s something many of us struggle with.

In today’s issue…

  • Overcoming imposter syndrome on LinkedIn.

  • The secret to expanding your podcast’s reach.

  • Personal branding that feels personal.

  • A simple challenge for authentic content.

Let’s kick off with a confession: I’ve struggled with imposter syndrome on LinkedIn.

There, I said it.

When I first started posting, my brain was filled with thoughts like, “What if people laugh at this?” or "What if they think I have no clue what I’m talking about?”

Guess what? No one really cared. But that fear? Oh, it definitely overstayed its welcome.

Eventually, I realised the only way to move past it was to get comfortable.

Comfortable with the fact that not everyone will agree.

Comfortable with sharing my perspective.

Comfortable with learning from every post, whether it was good or bad.

Here’s what helped me:

1. Reframed mistakes as lessons.

2. Posted consistently without overthinking.

3. Focused on adding value to others.

Looking back, I don’t see bad posts.

I see stepping stones that taught me what works and what doesn’t.

Speaking of growth, let’s talk about our podcast.

It’s one of our greatest assets, and we’re strategically expanding its reach.

If you’re growing a brand, here’s a path worth considering:

1. Establish trust in one place first.

2. Deliver consistent value with each piece of content.

3. Repurpose top insights.

4. Share them on LinkedIn to spark engagement.

5. Turn key moments into video clips for YouTube and Instagram.

Simple, right?

Focus on one platform, nurture it, and let it grow before expanding.

It’s all about purposeful, intentional scaling.

Now, back to LinkedIn.

Scrolling through your feed might feel like déjà vu.

The same buzzwords.

The same templates.

The same personal brands that don’t feel personal at all.

Honestly, personal branding should feel like you.

It should sound like your voice, not a script.

The reality is so many people play it safe.

Sure, following trends feels comfortable, but it’s also the quickest way to blend in.

If you want to stand out, you need to:

- Share your unique story.

- Lean into your experiences.

You need to ask yourself this question:

Is your brand really yours?

Or is it just a copy and paste version of what you think people want to see?

Here’s a simple challenge for this week:

Write one post that is undeniably you.

- Skip the buzzwords.

- Skip the templates.

- Just your voice, your story, your ideas.

And while you’re at it, think about how you can repurpose your most authentic moments across platforms.

Now let me leave you with this thought:

When you embrace what makes you unique, you won’t just stand out from the crowd.

You will be able to successfully build a brand that people trust.
