Ever feel like marketing is a full time job you didn’t sign up for?

If that last post tanked, does it feel like a personal hit?

You're constantly checking likes, comments, and follows, and it starts to mess with your head.

Yeah, been there, it's no way to live.

Here’s the deal: Your value doesn’t - and shouldn't - come from likes, shares, or viral status. If your mood swings with your notifications, it's time for a change.

It's all about the VALUE you bring to the table, not the vanity metrics.

Yes... attention and impressions are incredibly important to get eyeballs on your brand.

BUT... so is the value you bring to the table.

I know people with tens of thousands of followers who are barely scraping in $5k a month.

On the flip side, I know people with only 5k followers raking in $100k per month.

Numbers can be deceptive. It's not just about how many follow you, but how deeply you connect with them.

Here’s something for you to think about:

  • Ask yourself, are these numbers really measuring my worth or just the reach of a post? Big difference.

  • Schedule your LinkedIn time. Don't let it schedule you. It's about balance, not obsession.

  • Post because you have something valuable to say, not just for the applause.

Let me tell you a little story

While watching Simone Biles at the Olympics, I was reminded of this:

What life is like when you’re an athlete.

I used to compete for England in gymnastics.

So, I know first hand the amount of work that goes into training sessions.

The strong mindset you need to have.

And the strength you need to overcome doubt and anxiety.

It’s tough, guys!

But that led me to this thought:

How many people actually prioritise their mental health?

I can confidently say, not many.

These are probably the reasons why:

  • We live in a society where burnout is viewed as a sign of success.

  • Where sacrifice is considered a sign of selflessness.

  • And being busy translates into a badge of honour.

But it shouldn’t be the case.

Many people don’t realise there is a direct link between health and success.

And this is the message we aim to share through our agency.

Hence the name: The Healthy Entrepreneur Club (and our newsletter being The Healthy Hustle!)

When you’re healthy (mentally and physically) you have more energy and confidence.

THIS allows you to work with intention and focus.

And it reminds me of watching Simone Biles at the Olympics.

Even as the GOAT, she showed the world that her wellbeing was more important than any medal.

That moment when she stepped back for her mental health?

That was more powerful than any gold could ever be.

So, what?

Let's take a leaf out of Simone’s book.

LinkedIn, like any competition, is about how you play the game, not just the score.

It's about putting in your best, engaging authentically, and then - this is key - letting go.

If your LinkedIn is bringing you more anxiety than accolades, maybe it’s time to rethink how you engage online.

Or better yet, let someone else take the wheel for a while.

Our team knows all about crafting a winning marketing strategy without the burnout.
