Reminder For Today:

"Content is king, but context is God." - Gary Vaynerchuk

In Today’s Issue…

  • Are you going to choose option A.. or option B?

  • Tips to actually get out of your content slump.

  • How a staged car crash is taking over the marketing world.

99% of the time our clients come to us because content can feel like a huuuuge grind.

“What am I going to post today?”

“I don’t have time to edit this post!”

“There’s no ROI!”

You post something anyway to check the box.

Tick.

Content done for the day.

But there’s crickets.

And more crickets.

No results.

No growth.

The lack of progress makes you fall into a content slump. Why bother anymore?

You’re putting in so much effort but getting nothing in return.

You know something has to change.

What’s it gonna be?

Option A: You give up.

Or, option B: You change your strategy.

Read on if you chose option B.

If you’re reading this, you likely want one, or all, of the following:

  • Grow your audience

  • Become a thought leader

  • Increase your exposure

  • Stand out from your competitors

  • Increase your revenue

  • Create a seamless strategy that doesn’t take up all your time

It’s time we solve this problem.

  1. Ask yourself the following questions to reframe your focus:

What type of business do you want?

What type of life do you want?

Why are you struggling to create content?

Are you copying someone else’s strategy?

Are you following someone else’s dream?

  2. Small steps:

Don’t get ahead of yourself. If you do, you will get overwhelmed and it will put you off. Instead, start small. Don’t commit to posting 5-7 days a week from the get-go. Start with 1-2 instead. People overestimate what they can do in the short term, and underestimate what they can do in the long term.

  3. Create systems:

If I gave you £1 million, what will crash and burn in your business first? Serious question. You need to create systems for eveeerything.

    • Content ideas

    • Writing LinkedIn posts

    • Gathering photos for your posts

    • Nurturing your audience

    • Filming podcasts

    • Finding guests

    • Getting sponsors

Be specific about every single detail, create videos or looms, create charts or check boxes, write out the exact process, make it repeatable. That way, once a system is created, you can literally hand this off to someone you hire.

  4. Know your data:

It’s no secret we love data. Without it, we won’t be able to grow our business or our clients. Without data, you have nothing to work from. Without data, how can you set your KPIs?

  5. Ask:

Ask your audience. Ask your friends and family. Ask your followers. Interact with them. Engage them. Bring them in on your journey. Track it all in your marketing. Ask them > they answer > you create your LinkedIn content.

Bosh.

Hope that was helpful!

Who Else Is Hustling:

Specsavers.

Last month, Specsavers cleverly ‘crashed’ its van into a bollard in Edinburgh, giving a real-life nod to their iconic slogan, “Should’ve gone to Specsavers.”

This clever marketing stunt keeps the famous catchphrase alive and well in the minds of consumers.

Absolutely brilliant execution!
