They thought I was crazy for sharing this

Now they're copying it.

Two weeks ago, I was recording a podcast as a guest (yes, I practice what I preach), and the host asked me a question about my past.

Why I’m doing what I’m doing today.

I’ve shared the story of what happened in the car crash with Antonia a few times. But telling it always catches me off guard a little.

I froze for a second. Then I told it.

We were in England, driving down a quiet country road. Just a normal day. We were newly engaged - less than six months in - and talking about where we wanted to take our lives next.

And then, in a split second, everything changed.

A car came flying toward us on the wrong side of the road. Over 100 miles per hour. Head on collision.

The impact flipped our car. We rolled. Landed upside down in a ditch.

There was smoke, broken glass, blood, airbags blown. And silence. That terrifying silence after the noise.

I pulled Antonia out of the car. Over a hedge. Into a field. Pure adrenaline. We didn’t know what had just happened, we just knew it felt like the end.

And that moment… changed everything.

Because when you come that close to losing it all, you stop playing small. You stop worrying about “looking good” or fitting in or waiting for permission.

At the time, we were both working corporate jobs.

I’d just been offered a $100k+/year role. She was in a job (that felt a bit bland tbh). We had all the boxes ticked… but it didn’t mean anything anymore.

We walked away from that crash knowing we’d been given a second chance. And we weren’t going to waste it.

We went all in.

We documented our journey. We started a podcast. We moved to Dubai. We built our business around impact, storytelling, and trust.

That’s what I told the host. The fear. The guilt. The fragility of it all.

He didn’t speak for a few seconds. Then he said:

“That’s the most real thing anyone’s ever said on this show.”

And I’ve thought about that a lot since.

Because the truth is, that crash didn’t just change our lives. It changed how I show up. It’s why I believe so deeply in borrowed trust.

People don’t remember stats. They remember stories that feel like theirs. And when your audience feels something (when they can see themselves in your journey) that’s when they lean in.

That’s what borrowed trust is.

You show up with relevance, credibility, and emotion - and you earn belief.

But here’s the thing… that story I told? It’s just one tiny weeny part of our strategy.

Because great storytelling alone won’t grow your business.

You also need the right positioning, the right audience, the right marketing strategy, and the right funnel behind it.

And that’s exactly what our personalised Roadmap delivers.

It’s not about learning how to ‘open up’ on a podcast ..it’s about turning your story, your expertise, and your credibility into a podcast funnel that drives high quality traffic, nurtures it with long form trust, and converts it into revenue.

If you want to see what that would look like for your business:

Reply with "Roadmap" and I’ll send it to you.

It’s time to stop hiding the stories that actually make people trust you - and pair them with a funnel that turns that trust into results.
